Van Damme TourCat flexible Cat 5E cable is the cable of choice for Digico’s SD9 console. The SD9, aka The Red Snapper, is shipped with a 75m Van Damme TourCat cable terminated with Neutrik Ethercon RJ45 connectors which connects the control surface to the on stage D-Rack. Each Van Damme TourCat cable carries 32 inputs and up to 16 returns. Digico conducted exhaustive testing before deciding to specify Van Damme, with Van Damme initially providing 4 x100m sample assemblies which were tested to destruction by Digico’s technical team. |
